Extra Life + Facebook = WIN
Did you know that Facebook supports Extra Life as a charitable organization that your friends and family can donate to your campaign directly through Facebook? Enabling this feature takes only a few seconds, and on average, participants who integrate their campaign with Facebook can expect to see an additional $150 in donations over those who do not.
To enable the EL+FB integration, log into your Extra Life account and follow these steps:
1. Click on your account dropdown
2. Click “Account”
3. Click “Create a Facebook Fundraiser” for this year’s event
4. Click “CREATE A FACEBOOK FUNDRAISER” and follow the Facebook promp
That’s it! That’s all it takes to begin receiving donations through Facebook!
In the first 24 hours (without even a single post) I have received $165 in donations from friends and family! If you want to take it to the next level, Click the “Invite” button and send an invite to all of your friends and family to draw attention to your efforts!
