I remember my first gaming experience like it was yesterday. When I was 6 years old, I was in the hospital for surgery (I was fine – kid stuff), and when in recovery, my uncle came into the room and asked what the #1 thing I wanted was. I immediately responded with “A NINTENDO”. Lucky me – as soon as I arrived back at home, there was an NES attached to our television! Since then I have been a gamer and will be for the rest of my life. From 2003-2012 I ran a large Counter-Strike community (CS-Purgatory) and competed CS 1.6 Making it to CAL-I. In late 2012 we pivoted to supporting more than CS and formed Full Clip Gaming which then was renamed to DEFCON 1 Gaming. Now I mostly play for fun with friends.
